The #1 Way To Download Leads For Cold Email Campaigns

When you’re wanting to download your leads to send emails to, you should NOT do it from within your LeadTables themselves.

Instead, you should add your leads to a Campaign and export the leads from the Campaign’s leads view page, which we’ll talk about later.

The reason why comes down to:

• Metric tracking
• Organization
• Long-term I’ll probably have better exporting guards on the campaigns page than I would in the LeadTables views, to help you not accidentally export unsubscribed leads, etc.

You’ll learn more about how to use Campaigns in a later part of this course — for now, just know that you generally should only use in-LeadTable exports for things like exporting leads for enrichment in an external tool, making backups of your lead data, etc.
