  • What is it?Reliable web tech stack lead generation database. It’s reliable for what it has, but has very limited technographic options. You most often use it to target by technologies websites are built on top of (e.g. shopify, rails, etc.) vs. extra technologies like CRMs, google analytics, calendly, etc. that Builtwith would give you.
  • Pros
    • Reliable data. Great Support. Slightly cheaper than Builtwith.
    • Can target by top-level domains, which can be handy for finding europe or aus companies e.g. “.com.au” domains etc.
    • Can target by keyword
    • Can stack technologies used, or keyword + technology
  • Cons
    • Wouldn’t generally use it over Builtwith since Builtwith has a lot more data and search capabilities, and isn’t really even that much more expensive. You also get WAYYY more data on Builtwith; e.g. if you searched “Shopify companies in the US” you might get 50k leads from Builtwith and like 10-20k with Wappalyzer. Kinda expensive.
