Advanced Filtering With Tags

Tags are a really useful way to do complex filtering, because they allow you to unlock filtering power that you might not be able to unlock with stacked filters alone.

These two areas in tandem give you a lot of power:

Hereโ€™s how the various filters work:

  • Any โ€” If you select 4 tags, any lead will any one of the 4 would show
  • All โ€” If you select 4 tags, leads will only show that have all 4 of them
  • None โ€” If you select 4 tags, any leads with any one of those 4 tags will not show

Then, you can take things to a โ€œwhole nutha levoโ€ with the stacking of an AND/OR and another set.

  • Any AND None โ€” Any lead with any of the tags in the first box but none in the second.
  • All AND Any โ€” Any lead who has ALL the tags from the first box, as well as one or more from the second.
  • You get the idea ๐Ÿ™‚

Given that LeadTables โ€“ at least at the time of writing โ€“ doesnโ€™t allow stacking a bunch of โ€œORโ€ filters with regular table filters, adding tags for various filtered searches (perhaps with Saved Views?) and then filtering on those tags can be a great way to work around that.
